A fresh and piping hot name, Taylors of Harrogate Tea, was added to our top five leaderboard last week (11/7-11/17). Their Apple & Cinnamon Tea took the lead in our coffee, tea & cacoa subcategory. Our runner-up was Door County Coffee & Tea Co. with their Cinnamon Hazelnut Single Serve Coffee.

Apples, cinnamon, hazelnuts, peppermint and pumpkin spice. As alluded to in a previous email, and confirmed by the top products displayed above, now is the time for seasonal tasting notes to shine.

With this trend in mind, we chose two snack brands, with seasonal leaning products, to compare daily velocity growth from the end of Summer to Fall (August versus October).

Take Drizzilicious for example. Their Cinnamon Swirl and Pumpkin Spice Cake Bites experienced similar high-growth. Both experienced nearly 10x higher average daily sales in October, compared to August. An interesting distinction to note is that the Cinnamon flavor is an evergreen product and the Pumpkin Spice is a seasonal limited edition.

Kate’s Real Food Oatmeal Cranberry & Almond Bar is another seasonal leaning evergreen product. Despite being on our menu year-round, this cranberry flavor becomes quite the celebrity during holiday time.

A bite-size seasonal bonanza, if you will, to whet the palette in anticipation of holiday meals and their mouth watering fixings. We're looking forward a big helping of cranberry sauce next week- evidently, we're not the only ones.
